How RIQN Works

RIQN gives your child steady math practice in the formats end-of-year tests use, and gives you a clear picture of their progress. Here is how it works, from the first day to the parent report.

1

Choose a grade

Pick the grade your child is in now. Each license covers one learner, one grade, for 12 months.

See what each grade covers

2

Create your parent account

Your account is where you add learners, allow early retakes and see every report.

Parents only — learners never need an email address or password.

3

Add your learner

Choose a nickname and the grade. You don’t need to give us your child’s full name or school. You then get a learning code for that learner.

Keep the code private, like a password.

4

Your child practices

Your child goes to riqn.com/kids, enters the code and starts practicing. Practice adapts: children work on the skills they haven’t mastered and move on when they have.

Three kinds of questions — solve it, word problems and check the thinking — with an explanation for every answer. Read to Me in Grades 1–2.

5

Take grade tests

Each license includes 12 timed grade tests, 50 questions each, covering all 12 modules — like an end-of-year test. Every test uses different questions.

Grade 1: 45 minutes · Grades 2–5: 60 minutes. Answers are saved as your child goes.

6

Review the parent report

See every test score, results for each module, and skill-by-skill detail, so you know exactly what to practice next.

Sign in as a parent to see the report for each learner.
